Isn't this just the sweetest, most angelic little girl you've ever seen? Who ever would have thought she could cause such a commotion as she did last night at Jennifer's school. Jennifer's school is hosting a speech tournament this weekend, so she was having to work late last night. Nathan was also having a baseball game at the school, so Kaylee was with them. She was really pretty good all night, going back and forth from the baseball field to the school. It was getting late, and Jennifer was really tired. Being 9 months pregnant and being at school all day was really starting to wear Jennifer out. At about 9:00, she finally said it was time for them to go ahead and head home. She was so tired and her feet were so swollen, she and Kaylee decided to take the elevator instead of the stairs. As she was leaving the elevator, she heard a strange sound of a phone ringing, but thought it may have been a student's cell phone. Shortly thereafter, flashing lights were out front and firemen were running into the school. Jennifer stopped them and asked what was wrong. They said someone was trapped in the elevator and when they called to see what the problem was, there was no answer. Jennifer just started crying and saying it must have been her three year old who had pushed the button. They were all so nice trying to console a woman nine months pregnant, crying, exhausted, embarrassed and totally worn out. Of course, Kaylee thought it was all very exciting. After all, there were all these fire trucks with bright, flashing lights and men running into the building with yellow hats and coats on. (She thought they were Builder Bob). They were all very nice to Kaylee and giving her high fives. What a great way to end an evening at work with Mom & Dad!!!!
